If we’re being honest, let’s not overlook the fact that his choice of singles to put out were not good ones. “Blowin’ Me Up” was a great promo single for him, and to follow that with “Some Girls” and “ADLIDAS”? Not a good move, there were so many more worthy, edgy songs that would have done well on the radio. Though I was around 14, I don’t remember hearing JC’s songs on the radio at all.

Blaming his whole career on Justin is absolutely ridiculous. All that incident did was freak out the people in charge of the Pro-Bowl and guess what? JC’s SINGLE didn’t help. He could have sang something else, he should have, and he would’ve been okay. Even after that fiasco, JC had the chance to still sing the National Anthem and he chose not to. Of course, hey, who would want to, but that was still an opportunity for him.

I still believe that the main culprits are the people that were supposed to be backing JC and didn’t. Anything after Schizo was in his manager’s/labels hands and they didn’t do shit for him.

All in all, I feel like JC should have kept trying, shouldn’t have given up, but it’s obvious that he likes his privacy and he likes the behind the scenes of music.
